Mate holly plantations are located in the Mbarakayu Biosphere National Park, ideal for growing organic yerba varieties. The leaves are harvested by hand; the company has completely abandoned the use of agricultural chemistry.
Jerovia Organica is a classic Paraguayan-style dry and contains finely chopped leaves, sticks and dust with 18 months aging. The drink has a light smoky bouquet and a bright, intense Paraguayan character. The taste is mild and gentle, like most organic mate varieties.
