CBSé begins its activities in 1978 in San Francisco, Province of Cordoba, when the founders decide to incorporate the mountain herbs of the sweet and digestive type, introducing in the market a new product: the first Mix Yerba Mate. This initiative was originated in the observation of the customs of the consumers, who very frequent add to their Yerba Mate, herbs of the medicinal type and aromatics before they drink their Mate. They saw this opportunity to develop a new product according to the consumer’s customs. Started as an individual family company in a garage of 50m2 as a factory and a production storage, to became into an Industrial Plant of 10.000m2 in Santa Fe, Argentina. After several years of studies, flavor tests and heavy quality controls, the firm went official in 1997, the new flavored Yerba Mate creates a new segment in the Yerba Mate consumers.
